SAN HEALTH CHECK

GCH provides vendor independent SAN Health Checks for both enterprise and virtualised SAN environments. Regular Health Checks provide statistical measurements of SAN performance and storage utilisation.

Health Checks can be provided as one off service or on a regular basis such as quarterly or six monthly.

The procedure for the SAN Health Check can be seen below:

BEFORE Prior to our consultancts' visit to your datacentre, Traffic Access Points (TAPs) will be installed to all ports that have to be monitored.

DURING SAN Monitoring solution is installed and configured. Collection of statistics is started immediately and is left running for approxiamtely two to three weeks.

AFTER • Report Generation (one week) • Report Presentation and discussion • Recommendations and advice ••on remedial actions.
