Anue Ethernet Network Simulators are ideal for testing Ethernet or IP based networking solutions in a lab environment. Ethernet Network Simulators can reproduce the delay and impairments experienced by Ethernet signals across MANs and WANs regardless of the underlying transport mechanism.

The Anue Ethernet Network Emulator reproduces the effects of Ethernet networks at all speeds, from 10Mbps to 10Gbps, running on both copper and fiber media. Configurable impairments include delay, packet drop, reordering, duplication, fragmentation, modification, corruption, jitter and signal loss conditions. Frames can be selected for impairment based on a variety of Ethernet (Layer 2) or IP (Layer 3) characteristics (VLAN tag, source or destination address) or any other data in an Ethernet Frame. Specific bytes within a frame header or payload can be targeted for modification or corruption. Ethernet Network Simulators can be configured and controlled locally using the front panel, or remotely via an Ethernet connection. The included software package allows remote control using either a Graphical User Interface or through a TCL API, which allows for easy automation of common tasks.

Note: Up to 7 software loads for different protocols (SONET, SDH, OTN, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, CPRI) can be combined on the same system. A combo system can easily switch between different features, data rates and protocols, simplifying testing and leveraging your investment. [view Network Emulator Combo products]
