Finisar Enterprise SAN products include:

• NetWisdom software to centrally collect SAN metric information from SAN probes and SAN analyzers, issue alarms and notifications based on policy, create historical summaries and provide graphs and tables to analyze and characterize the performance and functioning of the SAN

• TAPs (Traffic Access Point) to gain transparent access to fibre channel SAN traffic

• SAN Probes to process SAN traffic and fabric information at line speeds

• SAN Analyzer to capture traffic and perform analysis to identify faults and failures.

NetWisdom Enterprise products can be deployed in many ways, depending on your business and technical needs. All configurations gather and pass information to the NetWisdom Portal (top). NetWisdom Express is a software-only solution that uses ProbeV software to gather SNMP data from SAN subsystems. NetWisdom Enterprise adds significant capability by using TAPs gain visibility to SAN traffic. NetWisdom Enterprise Expert adds the capabilities of the Xgig network protocol analyzer, to meet the most demanding SAN challenges.

• SAN Health Check deploys the Finisar products for your SAN with quarterly assessments and base lining of your SAN performance and faults.

• Multi-Site SAN Management enables a centralized SAN management staff to monitor and analyze performance and faults across multiple SANs

• External SAN Audit service provides a vendor-neutral referee or external auditing services for SAN device comparisons, bake-offs, and build-ups using the same analysis tools used by SAN device vendors to develop their products.
