NetWisdom Architecture
NetWisdom software has a
flexible architecture to allow implementation of some or all of the NetWisdom
family of products and scales to meet the demands and capabilities of every type
of Enterprise SAN.
NetWisdom consists of software components, Portal, Client Views, and Dashboard.
NetWisdom software controls SAN Probes (ProbeFC
and ProbeFCX), Virtual
fabric Probes (ProbeV),
and Xgig Protocol Analyzer.

NetWisdom Probes

The Probe connects to the SAN data paths or runs
through the SPAN port on a switch.

NetWisdom Views

The Views software presents the data in a flexible,
graphical user interface.

NetWisdom Portal

The Portal software collects data from the Probes or
SAN switches (software probe).

NetWisdom Dashboard
-
Dashboard provides a performance and fault view at a
glance.
